Cookies policy

How we use cookies.

Last updated: 27 August 2026

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. They let sites remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how the site is being used.

2. Cookies we use

  • Essential — required for the store to function: session cookies to keep you signed in (customer_access, customer_refresh, session_token), and your shopping bag (padelia_cart_v1).
  • Preference — remembers your cookie choice (padelia_cookie_choice_v1), compare list (padelia_compare_v1) and recently viewed rackets (padelia_recently_viewed_v1).
  • Analytics — anonymous usage stats to help us improve the shop. We only load these if you tap Accept all.
  • Payments — Stripe sets its own cookies on the checkout page to prevent fraud and process your card.

3. Third-party services

We use Stripe to process card payments securely — Stripe's own cookies policy applies at checkout. We may add analytics such as Plausible or Google Analytics in future; if we do we will only load them once you accept.

4. Managing your cookies

You can accept all or essentials-only from the banner shown on your first visit, or clear the choice at any time by clearing your browser storage for this site. All modern browsers let you block or delete cookies via their Settings menu.

5. Data retention & rights

Session tokens expire automatically (customer sessions last 7 days). We don't sell your data. If you'd like a copy of the data linked to your account, email contact@padelia.co.uk.
